SOUTH-CENTRAL, Ind. - The National Weather Service (NWS) has advised that South-Central Indiana, including Bartholomew, Johnson, Jackson, and Jennings counties, is under a "slight risk" (2 out of 5) for severe weather on Monday, August 10.
NWS states that the area could get two rounds of storms, starting Monday morning with a second round later Monday afternoon.
The main threats are damaging winds and localized flooding; isolated tornadoes are possible to the north.
More severe weather is possible on Tuesday. NWS labels Tuesday as an "Enhanced Risk" (3 out of 5) for storms between the hours of 1 and 8 p.m.
