U.S. Army Sergeant, family receive free Greenwood home

GREENWOOD, Ind. - The City of Greenwood had the privilege of celebrating an incredible act of generosity and gratitude this week.

United States Army Sgt. First Class James Hettinger, his wife Amanda, and their family were surprised with the news that they had been selected to receive a brand-new, mortgage-free home in Greenwood.

Thank you to PulteGroup of Indianapolis, Building Homes for Heroes, and PulteGroup's Built to Honor Program for making this unforgettable moment possible. Their commitment to honoring our nation's veterans is truly inspiring.

The City of Greenwood congratulates the Hettinger family and appreciates Sgt. Hettinger's service to the country.
