WHITELAND, Ind. - The Town of Whiteland invites residents to participate in a "Community Clean Up Day" this Saturday, October 10, from 8 a.m. to noon. The event will take place on Elm Street, east of the Whiteland Fire Department, at 141 S. State St.
Citizens are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to tidy up their properties and support community cleanliness.
This free service allows residents to dispose of unwanted items, including yard waste, brush, wood, general household rubbish, office waste, construction debris, and electronics.
Certain materials, such as tires, oil/latex paint, household chemicals, liquids, and any hazardous or infectious waste are strictly prohibited.
