FRANKLIN, Ind. - Franklin College will host its 2026 commencement ceremony at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 23, in Spurlock Center Gymnasium on campus. Seating is limited, and tickets are required to attend the ceremony.
Martha Sanders Hoover, J.D., will provide the commencement address. She is a restaurateur, philanthropist, and founder of Patachou, Inc. and the Patachou Foundation in Indianapolis. She will receive an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from the College during the ceremony.
The baccalaureate will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, May 22, in Richardson Chapel. The Rev. Dr. David P. Gushee, a leading American Christian ethicist, author, and academic, will receive an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from the College.
The baccalaureate is open to the public, and no ticket is required to attend.
