Jennings County Sheriff's Office hosts 'National Night Out' in August

NORTH VERNON, Ind. - The Jennings County Sheriff's Office (JCSO) will once again host "National Night Out" on Tuesday, August 4, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Jennings County Fairgrounds.

The JCSO National Night Out is an annual community event that brings neighbors and first responders together to strengthen relationships, promote public safety, and build a safer, stronger community in a fun, family-friendly environment.

This year's event will include:  

  • Free hot dogs, chips, and bottled water
  • A coloring contest
  • Music by DJ Eder
  • Face painting
  • Jennings County Animal Control adoption event
  • Ambulances
  • JCSO patrol cars
  • Fire trucks
  • Chugg Dirty Sodas
  • Dunk a Deputy

Food vendors and other organizations wanting booth space should call the Jennings County Sheriff's Office at 812-346-8642.
