SEYMOUR, Ind. - Jackson County Industrial Development Corporation (JCIDC) announced at its annual Reports, Reviews and Rewards Luncheon on Thursday, October 29, that it established the Jim Plump Legacy Endowment at the Community Foundation of Jackson County.
The fund honors outgoing director Jim Plump and will pay an annual grant to the organization for travel and training expenses. Plump will retire on November 2 after 42 years leading JCIDC.
The Foundation congratulates Plump, a former board member, on a successful career and wishes him the best in retirement.
Donors may contribute to the fund by cash, check, or online by clicking here.
Plump said, "Words cannot express my feelings about today's event. I was overwhelmed with the kind words from friends and colleagues. Special thanks to former Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb for attending and delivering the keynote address."
