Left lanes on US 31 from King Street to Hospital Road closed for 2 days

FRANKLIN, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announced that beginning Tuesday afternoon, February 17, workers will temporarily close the left lanes of northbound and southbound U.S. 31 between King Street and Hospital Road.

Crews will be performing preliminary maintenance for Phase 3 of the corridor improvement project in Franklin. Work at this location is expected to take up to two days, weather permitting.   

The left lanes have reopened between Westview Drive and Adams Street.

INDOT reminds drivers to slow down and use caution when traveling through work zones.
