NORTH VERNON, Ind. - Following an extensive investigation, the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) on Monday, March 30, arrested Gabriel Guenthenspberger, 25, of North Vernon, after receiving a cyber tip through the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Detectives executed several search warrants at a residence. They allegedly found child sex abuse material, as well as video evidence of the suspect committing lewd sexual acts with a baby calf and the family dog.

JCSO was assisted by the Indiana State Police and the Indiana Department of Child Services throughout this investigation.

Guenthenspberger is being held in the Jennings County Jail on the following preliminary charges:

  • Possession of Child Sex Abuse Material (Level 4 Felony)
  • Bestiality (Level 6 Felony)

Chief Deputy Cody Low stated, “This investigation is still ongoing, and more charges are likely. We are grateful for the strong partnerships with fellow agencies that make cases like this possible. The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office will proactively seek out child predators and hold them accountable.”

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
