West Jefferson Street closed for 3 days starting Monday

FRANKLIN, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will temporarily close West Jefferson Street at U.S. 31 on or after Monday, May 18, to complete additional storm drain installation work as part of the current U.S. 31 corridor improvement project.

The temporary closure is expected to take up to three days, weather permitting.

INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. Construction schedules are subject to change.
