COLUMBUS, Ind. – City of Columbus Department of Public Works crews will be picking up residential Christmas trees curbside (no alleys) the same day as your regular trash collection beginning Friday, December 26. The service will continue through January 30, 2026.
Call-ins will not be accepted for Christmas trees, and collections will not be made on private streets.
All trees must be free of ornaments, hooks, stands, or nails and placed at the curb in front of your home before 7 a.m. on your trash day.
